And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest (Exodus 33:14). As children of God, we need the presence of God now more than ever. Most Christians wait for every Sunday to experience it. But what if we can experience it every day? We are the temple of God ( 1 Corinthians 6:19) and the presence of God was always near the temple (Ezekiel 10:4/43:4). Who says the presence cannot be in our workplace or school/college? Are we like Moses? Walking on holy ground without knowing it? Maybe if we realize that God’s presence is with us everywhere we go, we can begin to change the atmosphere we are in?
Maybe we are like Moses, wearing the veil on our faces instead of allowing God’s glory to radiate. The people we work with can see the change in you, they can see that there is a difference. and when they ask you why you are different or why do you do things differently, they open an opportunity to spread the gospel to them. Many of us pray consistently and that is a good thing but do we stop to listen to see if God has anything to say? Do we spend silent time in God’s presence or do we say what we need to say and rush out? Would you choose to be a Christian everyday or a just a Sunday Christian or a Someday Christian?
