Beauteous
Into the room, you gracefully pace
I gaze at your beauteous face
And my heart begins to race
Thoughts in my mind giving chase
I know there’s more behind those eyes
Every second precious, as time flies
You pursue a different sunrise
Where every one of my dreams dies
It feels like you were the reason I was born
But here comes your new dawn
This city will surely mourn
The show ends with curtains drawn
I scan the horizons forlorn
But you are forever gone
